Homeopaths love to ask: When did this all start? Have you ever noticed how powerful that question can be?

As a homeopath, something I’ve noticed time and time again in my practice is that some clients respond beautifully to their remedies, while others don’t see the results they were hoping for. I’ve spent a long time thinking about why this might be, and I believe I may have found one possible reason. Of course, there’s likely more to it and I’d love to hear your thoughts too.

Have you noticed that homeopaths are obsessed with pinpointing the origin of a complaint. We will always ask "When did your symptoms begin and what was going on for you around this time?" We know that if we can trace back to when and how the problem began, this will lead us to the remedy that truly shifts things. For some clients, this exploration feels natural and they are curious, reflective and open to looking at areas of their life or health that might have been overlooked or buried.

And in my experience, these are often the clients who experience the deepest and most lasting results. Their willingness to explore their inner world seems to unlock something, allowing the remedy to work on a deeper level.
